Five status labels, applied literally. A label is used only when the source data supports it, and a shelf stays empty rather than being filled by interpretation.
Rumored
Reported but not confirmed. Always written as “Player — currently at CURRENT CLUB, rumored to join NEXT CLUB”, with a short profile covering strengths, style and market value. Ten entries carry this label.
Monitoring
Tracked but unresolved. Reserved for links the source data holds open without describing progress. No entry in the current snapshot carries this label.
Advanced
Negotiation in progress according to the source data. Applied only when the data itself describes talks as in progress. No entry in the current snapshot carries this label.
Rejected
Explicitly ruled out in the source data. Applied only when a move is stated as ruled out. No entry in the current snapshot carries this label.
How an entry reaches the board
- Read the snapshot. The fixed data set shipped with this website is the only input. No live feeds, scraping or third-party APIs are used.
- Assign one label. Each entry receives a single status from the five above. An entry never appears under two labels.
- Fix the reading order. Confirmed deals read current club then new club. Rumors read current club then rumored next club, so the destination is unambiguous.
- Publish only recorded fields. Confirmed deals carry a transfer type; rumors carry a profile. Nothing else is appended.
- Leave gaps visible. Where the snapshot is silent — exact deadline time, fee amounts, contract length — the site says so instead of estimating.
Deliberate exclusions
The desk publishes no odds, probabilities, percentage likelihoods, betting content, injury notes, lineups, tactical assessments beyond the recorded profiles, historical records, rankings, weather, attendance or ticket information. Transfer deadlines are printed exactly as the snapshot words them: the 2026 summer window is active and closes in early September, with no clock time supplied and therefore none displayed.
Corrections
Because the site runs on a fixed snapshot, a correction means replacing the snapshot, not editing an individual card. Until that happens, every status stays exactly where it is filed. Reporting an issue is described on the contact page.
